Who is Briana Aea?

 
 

Briana Aea’s career spans 13 years in broadcast media and eight years as a California Notary Public. Over the last five years she has volunteered with the growing Sacramento tech community serving as the Vice Chair of the International Game Developers Association – Sacramento Chapter and co-organizer of the Sacramento Indie Arcade. In 2017 Briana was nominated by the Sacramento Business Journal’s Women Who Mean Business feature as well as named by Girls on the Grid as a Sacramento Woman Making History. During her downtime she enjoys spending time with her son, long distance running, hiking, spontaneous road trips and live music. Briana brings a leaders heart and passion to serving her community.

In 2018 Briana gave birth to her first child which resulted in her world being completely turned upside down. She began to question her place on this earth as a Hawaiian, Japanese and Filipino-American woman. With an intense desire to create something of her own while staying true to who she is, this blog is a culmination of the re-discovery of Briana’s culture and heritage, motherhood, delicious eats, community members and events, as well as her expanded thoughts on the arts, entertainment and video games.
